Just Stamp | Trick or Tweet | Halloween Greetings from the Dog

Have you stepped inside your local pet supply store? It’s clear Halloween isn’t just for humans anymore. Your canine or feline companion can participate in a costume contest and enjoy holiday treats just like their human.

So today I offer the holiday greeting created with Stampin’ Up!’s adorable Trick or Tweet stamp set. You or your canine or feline companion can send it off to a favorite pal — two-legged or four-legged. Months ago when I first cracked open my Holiday Catalog, Trick or Tweet was the first set on my wish list.

Here’s What I Did to Create My Halloween Greeting From the Dog

Start with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ Gorgeous Grape card base trimmed and scored with the help of the Stampin’ Trimmer.

Using the Stamparatus, Memento Pad and the must-have Buffalo Check background stamp — also from the Holiday Catalog — stamp the background on to Whisper White cardstock and trim to 4 x 5 1/4″. Adhere to card base.

Use the Big Shot and the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, emboss  a 2 1/2 x 4 1/4″ wide Pumpkin Pie scrap. Trim to 2 1/2 x 4″ and adhere to card.

Crop a circle using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the dotted Lemon Lime Twist pattern from Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper. Adhere to card using Dimensionals.

Stamp the costumed hound on Whisper White. Add color using Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. Crop using the 2″ Circle Punch. Adhere to the card.

Stamp the sentiment in Memento Black on Whisper White measuring 1 x 1 3/4″. Snip the ends with the Banner Triple Punch and tuck behind the focal point circle.

Add the finishing touch — a sparkly bow created with Black 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon.
