Today I’m sharing two very different card designs, both created with the same Stampin’ Up! suite. Same patterned paper. Same cardstock. Same stamp and die bundle.

The magic is in the techniques.

Card #1: Bold Die-Cut Flowers for a Birthday Card

This is the card when you want maximum wow with minimal fuss — it leans into die cutting as the star of the show.

Why this technique works beautifully:

For this card:

Card #2: Stamping, Coloring & Outline Cutting

Same suite, totally different feel. When you prefer to slow down, sip your coffee, and enjoy the crafting, this is your card.

Stamping, coloring, and outline cutting to create a softer, more expressive design is the magic here.

What’s happening here:

• Images are stamped in ink
• Color is added using watercolor brushes, blending brushes, and Stampin’ Blends
• The images are hand-cut or outline-die-cut for a custom look

This technique is perfect for:
