Hello and welcome to the Second Annual Ultimate Pink Blog Hop.
For many of us, breast cancer has touched our lives in some shape or form. I’ve witnessed my mother successfully battle breast cancer, and I witness my dear friend at the American Cancer Society persistently working to bring people together to fund research, and make sure free information and support is available for those enduring the challenge.
Here’s What I Made
The simple pink ribbon speaks volumes to express support for individuals with breast cancer. Stampin Up!’s 9-piece Ribbon of Courage stamp set includes the widely recognized ribbon in two sizes, hearts and flowers with pretty details, and encouraging words. It’s all I needed to create a simple and pretty greeting card to convey warm thoughts.
Repeatedly stamping the Sending Love and Hugs sentiment in Blushing Bride created a clean background for a Blushing Bride Stitched Circle. Mini and jumbo detailed hearts were heat embossed with gold powder and colored using Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Powder Pink and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin Write Markers.
A Foil Snowflake, Gold Metallic Thread, and Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape add finishing touches to the simple layout.
