Show appreciation to helpful folks you meet everyday with a useful gift! Mini hand sanitizers are the perfect token gift. I make it a point to pick up a batch of mini hand sanitizers when I find them in store. They’re less than $2, and I know most peeps like to keep a hand sani within reach during these times.
Make it Special
Kick up the token of appreciation with a special presentation box designed to perfectly fit the minis. I made this gift box during this week’s Friday Facebook Live. You can join me every Friday at 2 PST on the Just Stamp with AnaMarie Facebook page. I hope to see you there! In case you missed this project, here’s the snipped, edited version.
The stars of the Curvy Christmas Mini Sani Gift Box are the Celebration Labels Dies, the Curvy Christmas Stamp Set and the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Paper.

I love fancy, but my favorite style is dependent upon how much time and resources I have to create.
Take the fun Christmas Gift Tag. The same basic tag is presented 3 ways.
Casual Christmas Gift Tag
The standout on this sweet Christmas packaging is the adorable, rustic tag. Once you make the first one, creating multiples is easy. Once you have a punched tag, the simple, casual version uses just the basics of cardmaking: stamps, paper and ink.
Tip: Besides using the ripped paper technique, stamp off the solid trees to add depth. Once you finish stamping, tie the tag to the Mini Shipping Box with a bit of Linen Thread. So cute!
Avid Christmas Gift Tag
The second Christmas Gift Tag is fancied up by adding a variety of stamped embellishments and die cuts. Just run the stamped images through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Warm Wraps Dies, then adhere them with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Die-cut Real Red Cardstock trim along with open-weave ribbon and gold metallic trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack were also added for extra charm.
Artfully Avid Christmas Gift Tag
The fancy third Christmas Gift Tag was stepped up by embossing the tag with the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder. Pretty wreath sprig die cuts were then added, and a bit of ink splattering using the Aqua Painter helped finish off the fancy final tag. This tag is so festive you could almost hang it on the Christmas tree!
Whether simple or fancy, the Happy Christmas Gift Tags make any gift extra special. It’s all in the packaging!

Nothing beats receiving a Christmas greeting in the mail better than receiving a handmade card. Anytime. But more so in 2020.
This year fewer holiday gatherings will be held, fewer friends and family will be hugged, less shopping will be accomplished and on and on. The upside is having more time with our closest friends and family in our cozy homes. Activities like baking and crafting are more doable this year!
As a cardmaker, I can’t overstate that it’s not only a happy experience to create the cards, but it’s a happy experience to receive the handmade treasures. They will be cherished long after the holidays are over.
Tag Buffet Project Kit Makes the Perfect Handmade for the Holidays Project
The Tag Buffet Project Kit offered in the Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog is my favorite holiday kit this season. The colors are a spin on traditional Christmas colors. The images are perfectly sized and artfully executed. Too sweet.
The kit makes 30 tags. Honestly, these days I don’t find myself needing 30 tags so I love that the supplies can easily be transformed into full-size greeting cards and gift enclose cards.
Take a look.

Some holiday cards can divert from traditional colors and themes, right? The critters from Stampin’ Up!’s Freezin’ Fun are frolicking about to create a fun winter scene holiday card that will surely make the recipient happy.
The project highlights my favorite color combo du jour: Misty Moonlight, Pacific Point, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather. This is the very combo I shared in this week’s newsletter. (If you’re not on the email list, you will want to subscribe so you can receive exclusive projects and notices. Use the sign up box on the page to join.)
This color combo transports me to fluffy snow-capped mountains with snow bunnies and cute penguins swishing down hills on their skis and snowboards. So relaxing.
Here’s a close-up of the bunny and penguin warmed in their Highland Heather scarves. There are lots of crafty details: soft embossed snowflakes sparkling on the white background, heat embossed flakes floating across a sky spritzed with Pacific Point, and a stitched snow slope for cool, winter fun. It’s a perfect winter scene — just what the year 2020 calls for.
This project was featured during a Friday Facebook Live class. Here is the edited version to learn how to recreate the scene.
Here’s another winter scene created with the same color combination. The letters were die-cut using the Playful Alphabet and foam adhesive strips. So easy to add dimension this way.
Here’s another winter scene holiday card featuring the Perfectly Plaid trees and my go-to embossing folder, PineWood Planks.
Finally, for mass production, substitute a patterned paper Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper for the more-time consuming heat-embossed background. The color combo is just as amazing!

Getting ready for the holidays now? I have a super special card idea that is beautiful! The star of the production is the vibrant Christmas flower also know as the Poinsettia — or Christmas Star. But the supporting role is played by the fancy fold called Center Step Fun Fold.
The fancy fold is multi-stepped, which means it takes a little time. This is not a project you want to mass produce at the 11th hour. However, it’s not complicated. If I can do it, YOU can do!
Here’s What You Need to Create the Wow! Holiday Card with Fancy Fold
You do not need a special die to create the Center Step. Your trusty friend the Stampin’ Trimmer does everything you need to make the card base. To decorate the holiday card, I used Stampin’ Up!’s Poinsettia Place Suite. This must-have for the holidays includes the stamp set and coordinating dies, plus the dreamy Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper, Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper, Beaded Pearls and Real Red Sheer Ribbon. I added the Red Velvet Paper Pack for the layered poinsettia. Every supply used in the project is breath-taking!
A side secret. I already owned stamp sets with poinsettias. I even had a poinsettia punch on my shelf. However, no other stamp set and cutting tool produces such a magnificent Christmas Star as easily as this bundle. Layering to create the full 3D flower is quick and easy. You do not need to build the poinsettia petal by petal as tools of the past required.
Here is a quick video from my vault demonstrating how to create the Center Fold base. Notice the fun fall design. I STILL love it!
During Friday Facebook Live, I demonstrated how to create the Wow! holiday card with the poinsettia. You will hear exact measurements so you can re-create the card as I show. Here’s the edited version of the Facebook Live.

Have you ever seen one of those fancy cards with a built-in snow globe? Shake the card and the snow or sparkling beads inside the window dance about.
Wondered if it’s easy to make one? The answer is YES! It IS easy to make a snow globe shaker card. With the right materials and a few crafty tips, you CAN easily make a snow globe card.
Here’s a snow globe shaker card for the holidays that features the suite from Stampin’ Up! called Trimming the Town. Country homes, a lamp post, Christmas trees and the classic beetle lend charm to set the scene for coming home for the holidays. All these elements are featured in the patterned paper and stamp set with coordinating dies.
To engineer the snow globe, Stampin’ Up! offers snow globe domes with built-in adhesive just where you need it and the dies that perfectly crop the paper to fit the dome! That’s what makes the snow globe shaker card so easy to make.
Step-by-Step Tips to Make the Snow Globe Shaker Card
During my Friday Facebook Live I offered step-by-step instructions on how to easily make the shaker card with the built-in snow globe. Here is the edited (snipped) version. For more fun projects and tips, you can join me every Friday at 2 PST here.
The key to easily constructing the globe are the Snow Globe Domes and the Snow Globe Scenes dies. Here’s a close-up of the snow globe.
