Festive Santa Cap Treat Holder Holds Handful of Sweets

On the Fifth Day of Christmas, my colleague gave to me … a Santa cap filled with sweet treats!

The Countdown to Christmas continues with another episode of #handmadefortheholidays crafts. Today’s 12 Days of Christmas project is a super cute treat holder you will LOVE ❤️ to gift colleagues at work that help you get through the days. Nothing compares to a #handmadefortheholidays project. They bring smiles while crafting, and smiles when gifting.

Make today’s project bright using Granny Apple Green, or make it traditional using Real Red. It comes together with just a half sheet of cardstock and embellishments to make it festive. No special dies or fancy tools are needed. Paper Trimmer/scorer, punches, a holiday greeting and embellishments on hand are all you need.

Home Decor Gift will be a Longtime Treasure

On the Fourth Day of Christmas, my dear one gave to me … portraits in a 12 x 12 frame.

Today’s 12 Days of Christmas project is one EVERY family member or dear friend will LOVE ❤️ I can think of no more special gift than photos displayed in a beautiful or simple frame. —  Okay, perhaps I exaggerate. The gift in the little blue box would be pretty nice too.

This awesome project was shared during Day Four  of the 12 Days of Christmas Facebook Lives. The home decor/scrapbook page organizes your pictures and helps you and family keep a journal of memories. Everyday life, becomes history! Photos and memorabilia can be preserved for generations. They are primary sources of history!

The beauty of today’s project is that you can make a double; make one for yourself to display or place in your scrapbook. I was inspired to package this 12″ x 12″ scrapbook page as a gift after creating several versions for the recent Creative Holiday Camp. You can easily switch colors, stamps, and embellishments to suit the decor. I do love the Gift Wrapped style and Beautiful Boughs Dies used, but there are literally limitless options.

I love fancy, but my favorite style is dependent upon how much time and resources I have to create.

Take the fun Christmas Gift Tag. The same basic tag is presented 3 ways.

Casual Christmas Gift Tag
The standout on this sweet Christmas packaging is the adorable, rustic tag. Once you make the first one, creating multiples is easy. Once you have a punched tag, the simple, casual version uses just the basics of cardmaking: stamps, paper and ink.

Tip: Besides using the ripped paper technique, stamp off the solid trees to add depth. Once you finish stamping, tie the tag to the Mini Shipping Box with a bit of Linen Thread. So cute!

Avid Christmas Gift Tag
The second Christmas Gift Tag is fancied up by adding a variety of stamped embellishments and die cuts. Just run the stamped images through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Warm Wraps Dies, then adhere them with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Die-cut Real Red Cardstock trim along with open-weave ribbon and gold metallic trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack were also added for extra charm.

Artfully Avid Christmas Gift Tag
The fancy third Christmas Gift Tag was stepped up by embossing the tag with the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder. Pretty wreath sprig die cuts were then added, and a bit of ink splattering using the Aqua Painter helped finish off the fancy final tag. This tag is so festive you could almost hang it on the Christmas tree!

Whether simple or fancy, the Happy Christmas Gift Tags make any gift extra special. It’s all in the packaging!
