Extend the smiles a handmade card brings with a Twisted Easel specialty card they can display all season long.
This week’s Christmas project — Week 3 of the 12 Weeks of Christmas Series — features the beautiful Winterly Tree Tops bundle with two WOW! techniques: Twisted Easel fun fold and the white splatter method to mimic snow.
Have you studied the Nests of Winter suite in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini Catalog? I couldn’t resist the sketched birds perched on branches. And the friendly sentiments are great for winter or all year long.
Plus, there are lots of creative options. Color the stamped images with Stampin’ Blends or your favorite coloring tools, or snip the birds from the coordinating patterned paper with Paper Snips or even dies that coordinate with some of the birds. This bundle works for Christmas cards or sending messages of thanks and friendship all year-long.
You will want this special suite.
The Twisted Easel card features a foresty Shaded Spruce frame which I winterized with snow after cutting it with the coordinating die. In the video linked below, I demonstrate the white splatter technique — just one way to add snow to a project.
