Ready for Autumn Gatherings? Here’s a Happy Harvest Blessings Card

Just Stamp | Country Home Autumn Blessings Zoom

I’m no farmer, and I won’t be harvesting any crops this year, but I’ll still celebrate Thanksgiving this November 22. No matter how big or small the feast, no matter how many friends and family gather, turkey or no turkey — gratitude and blessings are the order of the day.

Since the gatherings seem to be shrinking in my household every year, sending hand-crafted greetings seems apropos. It’s a great way to tell someone they’re in my thoughts despite their absence at the table.

Stampin’ Up!’s Country Home 14-piece stamp set has all the trendy farmhouse elements and sweet sentiments one needs to create kind greeting cards or photo album pages. Pair it with the rich fall colors and designs of the Country Lane Designer Series Paper and create away. I used this card to jump start my creativity.Stampin' Up! Country Home

Here’s What I Did to Make a Happy Harvest Blessings Card

Create a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4″ Mint Macaron card base using the Stampin’ Trimmer to cut and score. Cut a piece of  Crumb Cake cardstock to 5 x 3 /3/4″. Ink the raised side of the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad and emboss the card stock using the Big Shot. Adhere to the card base using Multi-Purpose Glue.

Trim a 1 x 5″ piece of the Early Espresso wood print DSP and a 2 x 4″ piece of the Mint Macaron/Whisper White cotton DSP. Adhere to the card base with Multi-Purpose Glue.

Using the Black Memento Pad stamp the cotton floral  and pitcher images on a 2 3/4 x 4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Crop using the second largest of the ovals from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies and the Big Shot. Add color using the Light Crumb Cake, Light Blackberry Bliss, Light Pool Party and Light Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends. Adhere using Multi-Purpose Glue.

Stamp the pitcher on Galvanized Metallic Paper. Hand-snip the pitcher without the handle and adhere using a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Stamp the sentiment on to a piece of Mint Macaron in Early Espresso ink. Trim and adhere using one Stampin’ Dimensional on the right and Multi-Purpose Glue on the left.

Embellish with a small bow tied using 3/16″ Braided Linen Thread.
